Tazerka, Tunisia (August 30, 2018) – The producer Abderrazek Ben Salah has applied the ferti-activators Sanbio EPSOMIT and Sanbio PLANTA on strawberries cv `Camarosa´ in open-field production in the season 2018. The aim of treatment was the prevention and control of soil borne diseases Fusarium oxysporum and Botrytis, as well as increase the yield of fruits.  

Two applications were made with a mix of both experimental products during 4-5 leave stage in a time interval of 15 days. Each application was made with a rate of 1 kg Sanbio EPSOMIT in 500 liters of water per hectar in foliar spray and 1 kg Sanbio PLANTA in 500 liters of water onto ground. As a result the fruit yield has increased at 2.3 t/ha, resp. +23.4%.

Almost no weeds were found on the treated plot. The plants on the treated plot were healty and well-developed with absence of Fusarium wilt or Botrytis.
